Where are my walks kept?

On your iPhone, and in your own iCloud when iCloud is on (Settings in Turf). A new phone, or Turf deleted and installed again, brings your whole history back from iCloud.

How do I get a copy of my data?

In Turf, open Settings and tap Export my data. You get one file with your whole history. Attaching it to an email helps when you report a problem.

Does Turf use my location when I’m not walking?

No. Turf uses your location while the app is open and during a walk you started, and stops when the walk ends. Your location never leaves your phone. Privacy policy

The map is not clearing as I walk

Turf needs Precise Location to draw a walk. In the iPhone’s Settings, open Turf, then Location, and turn on Precise Location.
